The Shaykh (رحمه الله) answered:

In this audio, Shaykh al-Luḥaydān (رحمه الله) has refuted the "global warming" cult by indicating that prior to the industrial advancement there were periods of more intense heat, indicating that man and his activities could not be responsible for warming. The Shaykh has also pointed out how these people make forecasts and predictions that never materialize (see a list of 50 such predictions further below).

01  “Global Warming” later rebranded to “Climate Change” is a Marxist, Communist ideology through which confiscation of private property is intended under the guise that the Earth is overpopulated and man, considered a plague and leech, is destroying the planet (Mother Earth, Gaia) through his social, agricultural and economic activity, through which he breeds epidemics and contagion. Thus, his rate of reproduction needs to be reduced, and all of his activity needs to be tightly regulated to save Mother Earth through the mechanisms of "biosecurity."

This idea was fabricated as a means of justifying “sustainable development” (rebranding of Marx's Ten Planks of Communism) or “global governance” through “climate equity” which is another way of saying dissolution of national governments and giving sovereignty to corporations and institutions run by the rich and wealthy parasites among the people of disbelief, so that they can take control of all wealth and resources and distribute them as they see fit. Their initial and primary targets are Western social pseudo-democracies.

These people use these false ideologies as well as wars, engineered or fake epidemics and medical interventions such as snake-oil injections to reduce the world’s population, because they are also Malthusians and Eugenicists.

Their latest scam is the mRNA injection platform which they are using as a trojan horse to induce illness, death and infertility in populations, while marketing it as if it is the end of all diseases.

02  We praise and thank Allāh for the presence of scholars and shaykhs among the Muslims who are aware of these affairs regarding population control and aware of the machinations of the people of disbelief due to being versed in their claims, ideologies and writings.

03  Over the past 50 years a variety of scare tactics have been used starting with global cooling, ozone layer depletion, acid rain, peak oil, killer bees, global warming and various other scenarios, some of which have been war-gamed and weaponised for Marxist, Collectivist agendas. These types of people who desire highness (علو) and corruption (فساد), come out in the name of social justice, equity and fairness.

The claim that global warming is man-made and that it is driven by carbon dioxide emissions is totally false. This is a blatant inversion of reality. Carbon dioxide is essential for plant life. Increases in carbon dioxide follow increases in temperature caused by sun cycles. Warmer weather therefore, leads to greater produce and sustenance for the creatures, and all of these affairs are under the power and control of Allāh, who expands or restricts the provision of whomever He wills through His disposal of affairs.

Similar to CO2 being a pollutant, a blatant falsification of reality, in the pseudoscience of virology, what the body intelligently expels of broken down genetic and other material following death of cells, linings and tissues, during what we call colds and flus and other states of "dis-ease", these superfluous materials (and/or the microvesicles, enzymes and proteins involved in the intelligent coordination of these processes) are claimed to be the cause of the illness (not its effect), similar to how CO2 is claimed to be the cause of global warming (not its effect).

This is similar to claiming that rain was caused by the roads being wet, or that charcoal remains and ashes caused the fire. These similitudes exposes the reality of their climate change religion and their superstition of viral contagion built on the pseudoscience of Darwinian Virology.

It is upon these blatant inversions of reality and the pseudosciences that follow on from them, that these people of disbelief pursue their agendas. Gone are the messy days of swords, guns and bombs, we are in the era of the battle for minds in which pseudo-"science" and psychological warfare are their greatest weapons. Convince people to believe in blatant falsehoods (with fake science and manufactured realities), "nudge" them (through behavioural psychology techniques), and the desired behaviour will follow. No more need for pointing swords and guns when you can extract willing compliance in this manner.

04  The root causes of adverse weather events and general calamities are sins and oppression from men. Though there is enough latent provision in and on the Earth, it is the sins and oppression of men, among which is greed and seeking of highness upon the earth, that leads to poverty, inflation and other economic woes. 05  There are many implications of these false and harmful ideologies upon creed, thought and behaviour which is why they must be grappled with and addressed.

This is because they entail:

• Revilement of Allāh’s rubūbiyyah, such as their claim that raising cattle for meat is inherently destructive to the planet (this is "climate equity" or "environmental equity", where farming is seen as destructive and even criminalised), or their claim that there are not enough resources in the Earth to feed every man, woman, child and creature (this is "resource equity").

  This is a lie because Allah has guaranteed the sustenance of all creatures (11:6) by way of what He has endowed the Earth of sufficient, renewable resources and means of provision. The reason why there is poverty is because of the greed and oppression of men.

• Raw superstition, baseless fear and harbouring of omens, such as the claim that disease-free healthy people can transmit an illness they do not have, and must stand six-feet apart from other disease-free healthy people because everyone has a right to be healthy, (the equal distribution of health, the communisation of health, this is "health equity").

  Thus, "I am not safe unless you wear your mask for me", "no one is safe until we are all safe" (a bit like "obese people will not lose weight unless healthy people eat less and jog for them") and, according to Bill Gates and his Marxist "vaccine equity": "The world will not return to normal until all seven billion people are injected" for a 20:1 return on a $10 billion investment.

  The Covid-19 Pandemic is the greatest medical and financial scam in history, perpetrated by a coalition of corporate “stakeholders”, whose motivations lie in Malthusian, Eugenicist doctrines, Gaia [Earth worship religion] and Technocratic Marxism, Communism, Collectivism ("merging of digital, biological and physical") (“you will own nothing”) as the ideal mode of operating society with economic efficiency.

  Their primary targets are the Western social democracies, many of which they have penetrated and taken control of, alongside various institutions that they own or control (WHO, CDC, FDA etc.) which are instrumental to the scams (manufactured crises) they are using to gradually execute their plans. There is tight collusion between big pharma, big tech and big media, all of which are tentacles of the same body, and owned by the same trillion dollar investing bodies (Blackrock, Vanguard).

  The faking or exaggeration of epidemics has become an art form and relies upon the pseudoscience of Darwinian Virology and the fraudulent misuse of the RT-PCR procedure, which is presented as a diagnostic "test". Cases and deaths (from other causes and illnesses) are rebranded into an alleged new disease caused by an alleged new virus or its evolutionary variants.

  The concern in these trials and tribulations is that there are many false doctrines, theories and baseless claims of science that have a bearing on issues of creed, and it is from this perspective that these issues are given importance and discussed.

  So all of this is a form of Marxism, it is communisation and collectivisation of health, where under the guise of the interest of the collective, individuals are impoverished, their livelihoods are stolen, and there is a net transfer of wealth from the proletariat (working class) to the higher classes.

  Lockdowns and related policies (distancing, masking) were the cause of this economic destruction and transfer of wealth,^[2] (not an imaginary "in silico" virus). These are unscientific harmful policies promoted by bought and paid for institutions, such as the WHO, CDC and others in order to impoverish nations and populations.

  These measures causing healthy people to fear healthy people for no reason exceed the limits that the Sharīʿah came with and were based on speculative theories of disease (Darwinian Virology), gross exaggeration, deception and fraud on behalf of the people of disbelief.

  However, as these affairs are matters of ijtihād for Muslim governments, and they are the ones who deal with these issues at the political level (and they may have numerous other parameters to consider), we have to respect their choices and decisions and treat any hardships as trials and punishments for our sins and disobedience. We can offer advice through legislated channels and make duʿā for the rulers of the Muslims. And while we must not revile and attack the rulers or do protests and demonstrations as occurred in the non-Muslim nations, and we must abide by regulations to maintain order and avoid penalties, we must not at the same time, believe what are lies, deceptions, exaggerations and falsehoods, based upon the speculative pseudosciences of the disbelievers, after they become evident and clear.

• Injustice (while claiming "social justice"), such as the notion that a man, a family or a nation that has worked hard for wealth, property and belongings must give it up for the benefit of the collective, because private (or national) ownership is destructive and so on (this is "wealth equity").

• Perversion and corruption, such as the attempts of the WHO and the UN (these are institutions created by the "globalists" to further their agendas) to sexualise children for the benefit of the pedophiles and sexual predators present in high society, and to abolish the categories of male and female, masculine and feminine (all of this is "sexual equity").

06  The two pseudosciences of "Global Warming" and "Viral Contagion" are the chief ideologies these people are using to advance their goals. They have mastered the art of manufacturing fake science as well as the art of behavioural psychology and propaganda techniques to shape perceptions and "nudge" behaviours.

07  Fearmongering and alarmism (of doom and gloom) are used to scare people into compliance, because fear is a powerful emotion through which reason can be suspended and set aside. Thus, the constant threat of say, rising sea levels, melting ice caps, or imaginary, made-up so-called "deadly viruses" and "mutants, variants" which are fabricated and exist only in silico (on computer) not in physical reality, and so on.

As Shaykh al-Luḥaydān (رحمه الله) mentioned, most of their predictions and forecasts never come true. Here is a list (taken from aei.org):

08  What these people do resembles the soothsayers and fortune-tellers who use crystal balls, or palm-reading and the likes. They (the bought “scientists”) create software programs and models into which they plug pre-determined values to get the desired results which serve the interests and agendas of their paymasters. This is masqueraded as “science” and people are then terrified with doom and gloom scenarios predicted by these computer models and simulations. This is not science but swindling (شعوذة), it is a type of linguistic magic (سحر البيان) by which the intellects are captured and emotions are played with as a means of controlling people's thoughts and behaviours.

09  There are many among the non-Muslims who have exposed these lies, deceptions and frauds, and plenty of resources exist (articles, books, websites, documentaries^[3]) providing more information for whoever has the time and the need.

It is not necessary for every Muslim to look into these things, but some among the Muslims must do so in order to present these realities to the scholars so that the scholars can give rulings with respect to them for the wider benefit of the ummah, such as what we find in this question and answer from Shaykh al-Luḥaydān (رحمه الله), because often, there can be within these issues what can affect creed and behaviour in an adverse way.
